This is exactly what I love fashion for. This is what I love about the design industry.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is T-post, one of the most epic things I have come across in some time.

So what is it you ask? It's the first wearable magazine.

yeah

for reals.

So when you subscribe to T-post, you get a new t-shirt every 5 weeks with an offbeat news article printed on the inside with a corresponding illustration on the front by a unique artist. Every shirt is different and every shirt is limited edition, which is super cool.

My shirt here is a back issue designed by Matt Furie and has an article that covers and discusses the effects of technology on human evolution since it seems that we have become dependent on our computers for keeping information rather than remembering phone numbers, birthdays and other various contact info. Are we destined to become different creatures in the next thousand years? Check out the article here

My classmates were worried when we found out that the volcano erupted merely two hours after our flight
landed and all flights would be canceled.
There was the looming threat of us possibly having to stay an extra few days since the airways were closed.

We ended up leaving as scheduled, but I didn't want to leave at all.

Having grown up in NYC, I'm used to a metropolitan city/urban lifestyle, but London was beyond that.
For one, it was...CLEAN!

The amount of history was mind boggling.
I mean, we went to the Tower of London, and I couldn't believe I was touching a building built in the 1500's.

And the art culture was DIVINE. I felt like an absolute idiot when we went to TATE modern and I welled up
with tears as I stood in front of a Monet Waterlily painting...

AUGH Don't even get me started on the vintage shopping...
I spent WAYYYY more than I intended, but it was soooo worth it

I'd like to return to see more of Europe someday. It was quite chill.

I have to apologize for the lack of posting, there are 16 days of high school
left and projects are killing me!

Volupté en rouge

Over the trip I turned 18 (yaaay!)

My birthday present to myself was a tube of Rouge Volupté lipstick in Red Muse from Yves Saint Laurent. I love how chic the packaging alone is, it looks like a piece of vintage jewelry.

I'm still in the process of getting over calling fries "chips" and talking in £ and P.

Oh, Springtime

"Okay, now pose like an idiot!"

You know what's better than a lovely, sunny 70º spring afternoon?

Yeah, me neither...

So I should explain the belt pouch. I initially bought the bag/belt together not thinking I would ever use the bag,

but man, that thing is helpful for when I go out biking since I don't have to deal with an obnoxious crossbody satchel!

I usually wear the belt pretty lose when it's at my waist, I don't want it to look TOO much like a gross fannypack :]

I'll be in London for the next week for spring break! My first trip abroad!

My friends & I are going to be making Monty Python jokes the whole time like a bunch of idiot Americans

(although I am pretty good at being an idiot American as is)

Unfortunately, however, I'll be spending my birthday on the plane ride home...

RedHouse

It was February, and I had one of the most amazing and exciting opportunities come my way since I started modeling back in 2006. Michael Sakas & Michael Donnor are photographers that on occasion come together to collaborate on photographic projects, and both have a talent for creating a sense of grit, reality and ethereal sensuality in their works. Sakas contacted me asking if I could model for the RedHouse Project and I couldn't say no.

The 2-day project was shot entirely on film. It consisted of myself & 3 other models living it up and shooting in Donner's AMAZING house in Holland, NY. Unfortunately, I can only have the pictures of myself up on here, so to see the other gorgeous girls, click on the links I gave to Sakas & Donner's websites.

The idea was that we were four friends staying in a cottage to get away and have a weekend of fun, being youths in the snow and all. The weekend consisted of different scenarios from lounghing around the house, to sitting in a make-shift hot tub constructed out of an actual old bathtub and a wood burning fire underneath. In short, it was an absolute blast.

AND OMG YOU GUYS THE CLOTHES. THE CLOTHES. Okay, so the stylist Molly Hoeltke was totally kickass and had some fantastic vintage clothes for the shoot. That green silk dress that I'm wearing is from the 30's, it was so delicate and lovely. She also threw in some of my own clothes that I wore to the shoot (you might recognize that cream/black blazer, the aviators and that striped tank!)

The weather has been obscenely warm lately! It hit 80º yesterday, which is truly, truly strange for Buffalo in April.

I've been spending my afternoons either reading like mad (an oxymoron, I know) or going out and getting ice cream just as an excuse to wear a sun dress outside!

HOLY CRAP SUPER EXCITING NEWS!

I have been accepted to Parsons The New School for Design for photography! Looks like that's where I'll be going in the fall! College ahoy!
