Rebecca Wolsten makes such beautiful pieces, but her shirts are particularly special and beautiful. Men's shirting is a delightful riff she plays on quite often, and when I visited her at her studio last, she was wearing this top and I was like "Duuuuuuuuude, tell me about this!"
She had it tucked into her signature wide leg trousers.
I digs me a mock neck + this take on the classic menswear shirting stripe of yore is playful and fluid and asymmetrical and fun. Love her, love LOY, love this top.
Also, just gotta share this: I bought this satchel at a street sale. Just have to get that out there because oh. my. god. was it a steal. The lady who sold it to me was way cooler than I'll ever be AND she threw in a white granite paper towel holder. Friggin' score, dude.
Beauty note: I'm wearing a swipe of Buxom's Powerplump Balm, which changes tint according to your lip PH, which supposedly gives it a different shade for each person. The concept is nothing new, and some might not care for the tingly menthol-y feeling, which makes it feel like it's plumping your lips, but I for one really like how it feels as a balm and I love the size of it. A nice, pretty pink flush of a color, I carry it everywhere these days because I hate all other lip balms.
