So I've given this Paul Mitchell Curl line a good month & half's worth of testing and I can safely and honestly say they're the best curl products I've ever tried. For one thing, the shampoo is totally sulfate-free, which is great for curly hair especially since it keeps it from drying out, but it's even better for colored hair because it doesn't contribute to major fading.
This has been my hair ritual for the past month & half or so (please excuse the pruny post-shower hands):
And that's it. Literally.
The only styling product I've been putting in my hair has been the Paul Mitchell Curl Definer, which is a cross between a cream and gel that bleds perfectly to do exactly what I need it to do: define my curls without making them crunchy and forever wet-looking. To distribute properly, I just mix two pumps or so between my palms (not fingers, keeps things from getting stringy) and run them through my hair front-to-back, then I just air-dry. It's totally fool-proof and it's made my life SO much easier. I can't go back to aything else.
By the way, feel free to join me on the Paul Mitchell #CurlConfession page on Facebook. If you're a Curly-Q, it's a must for sharing your own unique curl love & tips :]
P.S.
If you're looking to get your hands on this curl stuff (and trust me, you do because it's practically gold), use this app to find where you can find the nearest salon that distributes the line

I might just have to try that product. I use at least 3 different products in my hair daily. It's such a hassle taming my curls sometimes.

having curly hair can be freeing because we don't have to worry about combing our hair all day but can also be difficult especially when we haven't found the right products.
