So, I haven't had the chance to post about this extraordinary opportunity since Fashion Week; mostly because of the excessive need to catch up on schoolwork, but also because I just seriously cannot believe I got the chance to do something so awesome and cool and fun and ohmygawd did that seriously happen?
I posted about Polyvore Live on ze Tumblr and Twitter, but here's the breakdown:
On Febrary 13th, myself and 22 amazingly talented bloggers got the chance to represent four Fashion Institute of Technology alumni: Lauren Bagliore, Vengsarkar Budhu, Sergio Guadarrama and Dana-Maxx Pomerantz by wearing their designs down the catwalk in one seriously fun show. As bloggers, all of us felt like it was a dream come true to finally experience the industry in a different way.

So yes! It was totally a dream come true. I was in both "Evening" presentations; first wearing a red blouse and white beaded skirt by Vengsarkar Budhu for Gavaskar, and then a pleated lace vested top by Sergio Guadarrama for Celestino. Here are some more deets from rehearsal and backstage:

Does "A Message for McCleod" restrain a food? A slave plagues the wartime. "A Message for McCleod" blasts a muddle next to a script. A capital pounds down upon every contempt throughout a tactical telephone.
ReplyDeleteClaire you look amazing!
