"Look, you're wearing the sky!"
Designer Lia Kes invited me to choose an outfit for my in-store hosting duties and motioned to an other-worldly, hand-dyed silk combo of slip dress and gathered robe. Inky and watery blue, very familiar. The slippery shoulders and boudoir-ready drape of the robe felt like the perfect hostess ensemble. I felt beautiful, which Lia's contagious dreamy energy encourages. Confidence followed.
This past Thursday was really special. I met Lia earlier in the week, and prepped for four days for the pre-sale event in the KES boutique on the Upper West Side. Spring/Summer '18 was made available for pre-order and we had some fun. I loved hanging with everyone and slinking around the boutique for an impromptu mini-shoot with beautiful Tierra.
Definitely suggest taking a look at he the ss18 KES Look Book over on Vogue. Lia's designs drape beautifully and speak beautifully on bodies.
