Cheap Monday jeans & blouse (℅), American Apparel coat, Foley & Corinna backpack(℅), vintage boots and sweatshirt
Went to Buffalo for the holidays, kept warm
..or at least attempted to.
This American Apparel coat is, surprisingly, wearing well- surprising in that I have mixed feelings regarding American Apparel's construction (I have some pieces that have lasted me a lifetime, and others that have fallen apart or pilled after only a few wears) and, erm, politics (although Dov Charney ain't doin' so hot these days since he left the company as CEO). I really wanted to add a camel/brown coat to my closet, and then I found this number at the AA outlet downtown. The pockets are really deep, which might be the best thing about the whole thing. I've ordered one in black as well from eBay, so you'll probably see some stuff I'll take in that too.
Oh man, this sweatshirt though. Found at local vintage establishment, 10-foot Single (a highly recommended visit if you ever find yourself in Williamsburg). Clearly handmade, it's good to have something with primary colors and a suggestion of spontaneous energy.

Hope everyone's holidays were a smash, here's to moving forward into whatever's left of 2014!
