Free People Sweater, Tramp glitter shorts, vintage boots & eye necklace, asos hat, nails c/o Sally Hansen
It was beyond belief being invited to the Rebecca Minkoff x StyleCaster Hamptons retreat last week. We pulled up to this GIANT house with double driveways snaking up to it, and it was enough to knock the daytrip grogginess out of me. While the house itself was big, bright and lovely, I would find these dark little beautiful solitary corners that I couldn't help but love because you could only see them if you looked closely.
I've been seriously experimenting with texture lately because the shedding of layers means I have to get more creative with less. This sweater is seriously the bees' knees because it's the ultimate lounge-around-the-apartment-
zone-out-to-jazz-and-eat-ice- cream sweater (I'm specific with how I spend my free time, it keeps me sane), which means it's suuuuper comfy. The shorts keep everything from being too pajama game.
Speaking of dazzling amazing, let's talk about this nail polish i've been wearing CONSTANTLY since I got it, Sally Hansen's Magnetic waves polish. It's like a science experiment only prettier! I was a little perplexed the first time I heard about it and couldn't quite visualize what it would do, but I had to try it. It's like magic EVERY SINGLE TIME I apply it! I get so stupidly excited whenever I do my nails now! You wave a magnet over your nails for a few seconds and you have these beautiful undulating metallic lines. Elegant and dark, gotta love it.
