A lovely afternoon out with Bonnie, Nadia, Natalie and Chantal, who is here in NYC for an always lovely visit! We pretty much spent the day outside, with rooftop events at Le Bain for the launch of the Steve Madden Mag & then eating noms on the High Line until the sun went down. It isn't even summer yet and my summer has been off to a nice start!

After finding this FP top, I had been dying to wear it around like it's 1992, high waisted pants and all. My mom wore a lot of stuff like this back in the day, I remember her seasoned loafer collection from growing up that she always kept color-coordinated in her closet. She would wear pants like these with black jumpers, loafers, a gold watch, curbed chain bracelet, her bobbed white hair and red lipstick. Even though I was barely preoccupied with fashion when I was little, I always thought she looks über cool. I pretty much channeled her vibe with my AMAZING Edie loafers that I had been dying over since I first caught a glimpse of the 80%20 spring/summer look book. I made the look my own by wearing tons of my favorite rings like I usually do, which is something my mom never sought after in her own look, but I'm sure she doesn't mind.
