Wearing a Stylemint tee, Ciel sweater, thrifted Gap shorts, vintage coat & (alligator!) boots
Two events, one wonderful night spent with the bloggals!
Last week, Instax mini camera in hand, I hopped the Juicy Fouture Fall '12 preview and Free People's Rockefeller Center store opening with Natalie, Bonnie, Nadia, Christina and Justin.
Juicy was, as always, super exciting and b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l-l-y curated. The clothes were very '60's/'70's-inspired and fun as ever. The colors and patterns kept everything from being too costumey and totally wearable. Pops of color with massively awesome furry coats leaned the collection closer to Rolling Stones-era inspiration. My newly purchased vintage suede and alligator boots definitely fit in, they're groovy as hell. There was also not one, but two fireplaces filled in with fresh beautiful flowers. We were all swooning and crowding around the flowers all evening like the fools we are.
Next was Free People's exciting opening of their newest (and largest ever) store in Rockefeller Center. I mean, you really can't go wrong with FP, from the recycled vintage tapestries and flags strewn all over the walls to the painted floors and jewelry wall, we were all starry-eyed and inspired.

These shots are A-Mazing! Everyone at that event seems so cool that they aren't even real. And I'm loving the dark, 90s effect of those instant pictures.
