So, yesterday morning I noticed a peculiar rise in my blog hits and couldn't quite understand where all of these new, fabulous readers were coming from
it wasn't until later when I installed a link history viewer when I found out...
I never thought in (literally) a bajillion years I would ever get this honor, thank you so much, Teen Vogue!
so to all the new readers/visitors, I say Welcome! take your shoes off, stay a while
Speaking of which... These pics were taken a few days ago...I've come down with a really bad cold since then & let's just say I'm not exactly "camera ready" as of now...

I hope everyone has an awesome week! Stay awesome, guys 'n gals
Thrifting like mad lately, my local thrift store is being rampaged by a strange redhead almost every weekend
I know, I scare me too
This shirt is pretty awesome, I gotta say. It came out of the Weardrobe Conference goodie bag and it's by Cheap Monday. The slouchy shape is too awesome and too comfortable, I'd honestly wear it everyday to school if only for the comfort factor The quirky design is a plus too...

Ayyye, can fall just start already? The weather has been strange, it's either been blistering hot or frigid and dull
School has started though. It's my senior year in high school and I cannot WAIT to get the year over and done with so I can get my college schoolin' on!
I put a bow in my hair to somehow add to the nerdyness...preppy nerdyness? I suck at life :D
We all already know this, but Spring 2010 is gonna be totally gorgeous Doo.Ri totally blew me away, I thought every piece had the most amazing movement and the combo of feminine, sheer ruffles & the occasional flouncy pieces were really interesting with such a muted palate
Phi was Strong and Sexy, and you can't go wrong with that
So it's 2 am here in NYC, and I'm sitting in the ASTOUNDING Gramercy park hotel with my 3 lovely room mates Krystal, Katy, and Lucretia
props to krystal to catching a shot of our room before it was covered in our luggage
...and I have absolutely NO idea how I'm gonna cram this astounding weekend into one post...
DAY 1- sept. 4th
When I arrived to the hotel on friday, I was practically shaking from the worst combination of excitement, anxiousness, and nervousness. I was greeted by the AMAZING Weardrobe team responsible for this whole shindig; Suzanne, Rich, and Jessica.
Rich & Suz being adorable

I was completely amazed, you guys. When all 21 of us were congregated, it was stunning seeing everyone almost stepping out of their blog pictures, and into the real world.
The day followed on with a photoshoot with Eddie Newton, and opening swag bags courtesy of the sponsors of this wonderful event
goodness gracious!!
DAY 2! sept. 5th I didn't lose my photos after all!! We were given these awesome Flip photocams so that we could document our trip through videos that will at some point turn into one super awesome feature
Today started out with brunch at Eat Records in Williamsburg, Brooklyn
Then we shuffled on over across the street to theFredflare shop...SOO cute! We were all like kids in a candy store (click the link for more pictures & info!)
MORE shopping followed as we stopped off at some of my favorite vintage stores in all of NY, Beacon's Closet, Buffalo Exchange, and the intense Artists & Fleas market, where I found me some awesome handmade jewelry and equally awesome characters.
The last event before having dinner at Fat Hippo was a DIY denim session with some jeans provided by Pacsun
Everyone's creative energy was floating around the room as we pounded studs and pricked ourselves with safteypins
DAY 3! sept 6th
Our last day here...everyone was giddy in the morning as some of us donned some of our new digs from the shopping adventure in Brooklyn. I myself was wearing a Vintage sequin tube dress that I had bought a few weeks before in a little vintage shop in the east village along with a thrifted Gap denim blazer & a Vintage white beaded clutch
These nameless puppies needed a home when I saw them in Beacon's...aren't they nuts?!! I couldn't resist the über simple streamline design...and in my size for once!
We had a photoshoot with the amazing Craig at Altamira & drew quite a crowd!!
(more comin' soon)
after some INTENSE shopping & walking in SoHo, and chats with Ruelala & Tumblr folk, myself & a few more of us wrapped the day up with a trip to see the September Issue
It's just wordplay, I couldn't help myself...
I am so incredibly honored to have had the opportunity to be surrounded by such amazing, inspiring people in short, all I can say is that this was the most amazing weekend of my life.... ...right down to the rip I got down the side of my shoes from Brooklyn <3
